Bleathwood Lodges are located in a beautiful part of the Shropshire countryside, tucked away in the Teme Valley. We are an ideal base for exploring both Shropshire and Worcestershire as our glamping site is located in the tiny hamlet of Bleathwood, which is outside the market town of Tenbury Wells and just a short drive from Ludlow.
Our lodges are truly unique and are beautiful bespoke wood clad structures. Suitable for singles or couples, with all bedding included, they really are the perfect place to stay for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of modern day living. The lodges are warm and well insulated, making them snuggly on cooler nights and cooler on warm evenings. Our lodges and facilities include:
French doors that open onto your own personal decking area.
Shelving with tea/coffee making supplies.
Shared undercover BBQ area and undercover fire pit.
Fully equipped kitchen area.
Large indoor area with tables, chairs, settees, TB and board games to enjoy.
Adjacent fields to enjoy.
Dedicated car park.
Free Wi-Fi internet access.
We can also supply delicious breakfast and BBQ boxes for you to cook in either our fully equipped kitchen, or on the BBQ. The Teme Valley is renowned for its food, and we source the very best local produce from our butchers and bakers, including lovely sausages, bacon and free range eggs. We are fully licensed and can keep you stocked up with wine, beer, spirits or soft drinks. Just let us know what you would like and we’ll supply pricing.
Guests will need to bring their own towels and we do recommend that you bring bath robes and flip flops for trips to the bathroom and showers.
For those looking for a dog friendly break away, look no further. We are very dog friendly and generally allow 2 dogs per lodge (more by prior arrangement, please phone us for a chat). The lodges are situated next to a large field where guests are welcome to exercise their dogs, obviously being considerate of other guests. Dogs should be kept on a lead around the lodges and site. We ask that they are not left on their own in the lodges, unless inside a crate (again, being mindful of other guests). Many of the local pubs allow well behaved dogs. We are happy to let you know dog friendly places to go. A cleaning fee of £15 per dog per stay will be levied.
Ideal for a short break, or weekend retreat, the countryside surrounding us is a huge draw for many. Walkers can begin on a foot path across our fields, or travel a short distance to enjoy Mortimer’s Forest, the Wyre Forest, or spectacular views from the Clee Hills, the highest point in Shropshire. The lodges sit in the central borders of Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire, offering historical market towns, castles, and fabulous gardens to explore in every direction. Considered the prettiest town in England, visiting the medieval walled town of Ludlow is recommended during your holiday, and is just 10 minutes away by car.
