Highfield Farm Touring Park

Comberton, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire



Highfield Farm Touring Park is a quiet and tranquil premier holiday park located just outside the village of Comberton which is 5 miles from Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. The park is set in attractive undulating countryside and there are many quiet villages nearby for you to explore.

The camping and caravanning park covers some eight acres and is part of a working farm (no farm animals though!). It is surrounded by conifers, hedges, trees and is carefully divided up to provide for all touring needs, whether it be families with children (for whom there is a special play area).

The park has a friendly reception which incorporates a small shop selling newspapers, basic provisions, Calor Gas, Camping Gaz and a range of accessories and camping requisites.

There are lots of other facilities at the touring park including:
An information centre.
Public telephone and post box.
Facilities are available for freezing ice packs and battery charging.
Dog exercise area.
A 1.5 mile walk around the farm providing excellent views of the countryside. There are two seats along the walk.
Electric hook ups are available throughout the park for tents, caravans, and motor caravans. (10 amps)
For caravans and motor caravans there are hard standing or grass pitches.
Motor caravan service point.
Strategically placed night lighting.
Plenty of fresh water points.
Three chemical disposal points.
Four modern toilet/shower blocks with constant hot water.
Camping field toilet block.
Tastefully tiled shower blocks.
Fully equipped laundry room.
Lending library.
Shaver points.
Three sheltered washing up areas, one of which is completely enclosed.

The area abounds with just about every possible attraction, from ancient buildings to wildlife parks.

There are also many activities nearby, golf, fishing, horse riding and punting to name but a few. Or perhaps you fancy a day at the races in nearby Newmarket. For those who love to shop, there is the vibrant city of Cambridge. Here you can wander the many historical streets and lanes, where you will find all types of shops and stores. Or stroll alongside the banks of the River Cam, have lunch on the terrace of a riverside pub, or picnic in one of the many parks.
