Poachers Patch is a lovely 4.5-acre flat caravan & camping site situated in the village of Brant Broughton in Lincolnshire. There is easy access to the A17 and we are just 7 miles south of Newark on Trent.
The meadow is divided into 2 paddocks, 3 acres for camping or caravan rallies with 5 hook-ups for none members and 1.5 acres for a 5 van certified site with The Camping and Caravanning Club.
We have a fire pit for campfires with logs available on request and a decked picnic area with a goldfish pond and summer house [a small fridge is located here for campers to use]. There is also a small bird-watching hut where barn owls have been seen as they nest nearby.
Dogs are welcome.
Two flushing toilets.
Hot and cold running water.
A shower room.
Somewhere to empty your chemical toilet.
Washing up station.
Wi-fi is available.
With the exception of rally weekends, we are usually a very calm, quiet backwater in which to relax, watch birds, eat and drink with friends, or just chill out! The pub is within staggering distance if you prefer not to cook or the weather lets us down!
A Spar shop and the nearest Doctorsí surgery are located in Bassingham, a 10-minute drive away.
The cathedral city of Lincoln is also only 12 miles away.
The site is on the south of the High Street in Brant Broughton, set back from the road just after a small hump-backed bridge if you arrive from the A17.
