Lake Ross Caravan Park

West Pinchbeck, Spalding, Lincolnshire



Lake Ross is a small family fun business with a friendly atmosphere. This quiet caravan site is situated in the midst of open countryside providing an excellent base from which to tour the Fens, yet within easy reach of the City of Peterborough, Kings Lynn, Boston & Grantham. The coastal resorts of Skegness, Sandringham and Hunstanton are only an hour's drive away.

Park Facilities : Although small, Lake Ross provides many excellent facilities. A licensed Clubhouse with live entertainment, Pool, Darts, Dominoes and Cards etc. Modern amenities including block housing toilets and showers, laundry room, wash-up area and Chemical Disposal unit, electric hook ups and Calor Gas.

Static Caravans : Onsite we have 4/5 berth static caravans for hire, with fully equipped kitchen, toilet, bathroom/shower, fridge and TV (please bring your own bedding, tea and hand towels). All caravans have gas cookers and coin operated electric lighting.

Residents are required to vacate caravans by 10a.m on the day of leaving to ensure new arrivals can occupy at 1pm. Occupants are responsible for any damage incurred throughout their stay.

The Lake is stocked with a variety of coarse fish including Carp, Tench, Roach, Rudd, Chubb and Barbel. Access is available to all banks with ample pegs and stages to provide excellent fishing for even the most inexperienced fisherman. Night fishing is prohibited. Barbless hooks only. No floating bread. Groundbait in an open end feeder only. No Boilies.

Spalding is a small market town with a fine Parish Church. Market days are on Tuesday and Saturday with half day closing on Thursday. While here you may wish to visit some of the many attractions within easy reach. Here are some suggestions : Springfields Show Gardens, Baytree Nurseries & Owl Centre, Spalding Tropical Forest, The Butterfly Park & Falconry, Historic Ayscoughfee Gardens & Fens Museum, The Romany Museum of Entertainment, Priors Oven Restaurant and the magnificent Crowland Abbey.

Each year in early May, Spalding plays host to the world famous Tulip Parade. You are advised to book early for this event as it is extremely popular. Minimum stay 4 nights for this event. With regret no caravans are allowed onsite over this weekend. When booking for this period, please ask about out Festival Fishing Match.
