Alderfen Marshes offers a wonderful wild camping and canoeing experience in Surlingham near Norwich. Situated in 6 acres of stunning wilderness in the Norfolk Broads National Park, we are perfect for a tranquil break away.
Our campsite is the ideal place to stay for nature lovers who wants to escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. You can get close to the wildlife and wake up to a majestic dawn chorus over the marshes. We are in a secluded location with no onsite car parking. Minibus transport is included from Norwich train and bus stations, which makes Alderfen Marshes easily accessible for public transport.
Groups of up to 8 adults can enjoy exclusive use of the marshes, making Alderfen Marshes a great place for groups looking for somewhere special to stay. Once you have pitched your tent, you can gather around the campfire until the stars are shining at night. Throughout your stay you can use a canoe to navigate your way down the gorgeous waters or make your way down the river to visit some lovely pubs or RSPB nature reserves.
