Pigs In Blankets offers wonderful camping and glamping facilities in peaceful countryside, overlooking the charming seaside town of Southwold. We are perfect for an unforgettable holiday in Suffolk.
Based within the grounds of our working livestock farm, our glamping pods and camping pitches are nestled across a 6-acre meadow. We offer the chance the reconnect with nature and offer views of our farm animals, wildfowl marshland and the coastline.
Glamping Pods
Our 4 luxury pods are well-equipped to a high standard and come with a range of facilities. The fully insulated pods all include a hand-made country-style kitchenette with a Belfast sink, hob and microwave oven. The TV has Netflix and there is a wood burner.
All the pods include a double bed with an en suite shower room. Two of the pods also have a mezzanine bunk for children.
Outside each pod, we have a decking area to unwind on whilst enjoying the view. All the pods include a wood-fired hot tub, an outside table, an area with seating and a fire pit with a grill.
Campsite
We also offer spacious pitches for campers and campervans. There is an area of the campsite where you are free to choose where you pitch.
Our newly refurbished straw shed is a Dutch barn that houses all amenities, including a game’s room and washing-up area. You can use our brand-new bathroom facilities. The male and female bathrooms each have 3 showers, toilets and sinks. Onsite there is drinking water, a ping pong table, a BBQ and farm produce.
We are ideally placed for exploring the coastal town of Southwold, home to a sandy beach, beach hut-lined promenade, Southwold Pier, shops, cafes and restaurants. Children will love visiting Southwold Maize Maze and the whole family can see the renowned Southwold Lighthouse. Attractions to visit include:
Copper House Distillery.
Framlingham Castle.
RSPB Minsmere.
Dunwich Heath and Beach.
Abbey Gardens.
