The 5 EcoPods are set spaciously within an orchard of a hundred different fruit trees in a 10 acre meadow with a woodland backdrop and snaking pathways linking the EcoPods together. Truly a great place to relax and unwind. There are so many different birds, we have local buzzards, red kites, woodpeckers, mistle thrush, ravens, etc. you could be in an episode of Spring Watch. Once you get here you are welcome to walk around the 100 acre farm, we have short onsite walks for little ones and a longer 5 pub walk for those with longer legs and an exploring nature.

We do not charge extra for the Summer Holiday’s..!

EcoPod Holidays The site is high on a hill with stunning vistas and huge expansive skies looking over the Weaver Hills and Churnet Valley. It’s very quiet apart from the local birds, who are noisy...! Especially at dawn and dusk. So many birds in the enchanted wood. I love the site, I just like being here and everyone who comes loves it too...! No noisy roads and were not on a flight path...Just the woods, birds and nature to absorb you in... there are loads of trees and space around each EcoPod; you can lie all day in the dappled light from the leaves and remember your childhood when there was nothing to do but daydream...enough about me...! See You soon x

Inside and Out Believe it or not I have built all the EcoPods myself...Everyone is different and it has taken a long time. Back in 2006 we gained a New Environmental Economy grant, delivered through the Peak District National Park. Our workshop is very close to Peak Waste Recycling, they know me well there and have supported me throughout my EcoPod journey! Recycling has always been a passion of mine and all the EcoPods are made from recycled wood, reclaimed materials inside and local Larch cladding outside.

Facilities Each EcoPod is fully insulated with its own log burner, hot shower, equipped mini kitchen, and phone charging facilities turning camping into glamping, but still with an ecologically sound basis. We have worked hard to provide an environmentally friendly camping / glamping experience that we know you will enjoy.

This glamping site is totally off grid and was supported by the Peak District National Park through a New Environmental Economy grant from the EU with a grant in 2006.

Things to do Walk in the stunning scenery of the Weaver Hills and cycle next to the meandering river of the Churnet valley with the many routes open to you.
