Pindale Farm Outdoor Centre is the the ideal base for all outdoor activities in the Peak District. The centre also provides several types of accommodation including camping, a bunkhouse, B&B and a powder house. The camping centre is located just outside the village of Hope in the Hope Valley, Derbyshire.
The campsite is AA accredited and it is a level site which includes 6 electric hook-ups. There is another camping field which is available for scouts, girl guides, cadets etc. Situated in centrally within the campsite are toilet and shower blocks with hot water.
Another place to stay at Pindale is The Engine House which is a Grade II listed building providing self contained accommodation for 8 people. There is a kitchen, shower, toilet and wash basin.
There is a bunk house available which can sleep 4 people. This accommodation also has a small electric cooker, storage heater and light.
Activities available include:
A climbing wall and bolt routes, up two sides of the chimney and traversing around the end of the Engine House - using 130ft rope.
Abseil platform, for instruction in controlled conditions before venturing on to the hills.
The field gun. Yes, you have seen the soldiers in the Royal Tourament taking a gun over the obstacle course.
This outdoor centre is within the ideal rural area for walking, cycling and other outdoor pursuits. There are also many interesting attractions to visit such as Cave Dale, Peak Cavern and Poole's Cavern.
