Description

New Hall Farm Touring Park is located in Edingley, Nottinghamshire near the Robin Hood Way and is ideal for walking or cycling. It is close to local attractions such as Southwell Minster and Sherwood Forest Country Park.

The Brown family has been farming in Edingley and Halam for over 200 years. The 18th Century Stone Threshing Barn is still used to store winter cattle feed. Our beef suckler herd graze on ancient "rig and furrow" parkland pasture, which has not been ploughed since the days of the horse plough. Newborn calves epitomize the peace and tranquility that awaits you.

The touring park offers spacious pitches with panoramic views for adults only.

Facilities:
Heated shower and toilet block.
Electric hook-up points (16 amp).
Well-screened grass pitches.
Level hard standings.
Picnic areas.
Log cabin viewing gantry.

The caravan park is situated on a spacious well elevated site, with panoramic views across open countryside in all directions.

The cattle are fenced well away from the site but can be viewed in their natural environment from some pitches.

The peaceful and relaxing surroundings also include:
Secluded woodland spinney.
Wildflower meadows.
Peaceful walks.
Nature conservation.
Songbird management project.
Spectacular sunrise and sunset - photographer's dream.
Binocular viewing - see Belvoir Castle, Lincoln Cathedral and stunning views across the Trent Valley from our very powerful binoculars set up on a tripod.

The site is just 3 miles from the historic Minster town of Southwell. This attractive town has an extensive range of restaurants and shops. The market town of Newark is just 10 miles away and Nottingham 15 miles.

There are many local country pubs, which serve good food and beer. The Old Reindeer in Edingley is a 20 minute walk from the site and serves good, quality food with a wide range of beers and lagers.
