Blackgrounds Farm provides unique accommodation set down a long drive away from the road in the village of Chipping Warden which is just outside Banbury in Oxfordshire. The accommodation is in a quiet and secluded setting perfect for a relaxing holiday or short break.
We offer shepherd's huts or 8 cosy cocoons.
Orchard Shepherd Hut: When you wake up in the morning, having had the most beautiful sleep on the ultra-comfortable bed, all you can see is a rolling meadow running down to the River Cherwell. You can listen to the buzzards calling while they soar above, having heard nothing but owls hooting during the night.
Stable Shepherd Hut: This hut is tucked into a little wood and can sleep up to 3 people. This hut also has tea/coffee making facilities and a private bathroom. There is a pretty raised veranda, perfect for enjoying a drink and there is also a garden.
River Shepherd Hut: Right next to the river and a lovely verandah that is perfect for the picnic overlooking the water. It has steps leading down for that early morning swim. It has a king-sized bed, solar-powered lights and gas-fired cooking facilities and heating.
Blackgrounds Shepherd Hut: An original shepherd hut with huge character. Overlooking the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside.
