Bridge Villa is a picturesque family run camping & touring caravan site in Oxfordshire, located beside the River Thames within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, approximately 14 miles south of the city of Oxford. Situated close to two National Paths; The Thames Path and The Ridgeway in addition to being located on the Thames Valley Section of Route 5 of the National Cycle Route, offers many different opportunities to enjoy the beautiful surrounding countryside.
Open from 1st February through to 31st December, the landscaped park provides a mix of both sheltered and open grass spaces. Electric hook-ups supplying 10 amps are provided for each of the 100 pitches.
In addition to camping and caravanning, we are please to now be able to offer accommodation for visitors. Our rooms are newly fitted-out and decorated to high standard and is located on the ground floor, designed and equipped to cater for all customers including wheel chair users. The room has twin beds, under floor heating, flat screen tv, en-suite shower room with power shower. The room is available on a room only basis (no breakfast/ food included), tea and coffee making facilities within the room, however we are located within a short walk from Wallingford where there are many places to eat and drink.
Access to the Park is via the single entrance/exit to the site is strictly controlled by a security barrier for all units over 2 metres (6'6"). On arrival, all visitors must report to the house/reception to check-in and have the barrier opened.
A small shop on site stocks all the basic provisions. Calor gas and Camping gaz cylinders are also available, as is a small range of camping & caravanning supplies including Elsan fluid. Ice pack re-freezing and battery charging can be provided on request. Tourist information leaflets and stamps can also be obtained.
Crowmarsh Stores and Waitrose supermarket are both within easy walking distance.
Toilet & shower facilities are located in the north east corner of the site in a purpose built oak frame building. Facilities include private washrooms, shower cubicles and ambulant disabled toilet cubicles.
There is a separate disabled toilet & shower room for RADA keyholders. A dedicated baby changing room, washing-up room with two large Belfast sinks, washing and drying machines and two sluice rooms are also housed within the building; there is under floor heating throughout.
Drinking water points and refuse collection points are stationed throughout the park. A covered waste water disposal point can be found beyond the balcony.
