Lower Hill Farm is a family-friendly site situated at Hughley and just a short drive from the historic Shropshire market town of Shrewsbury. The farm covers 230 acres of the beautiful and unspoilt county of Shropshire.
Our gorgeous campsite is surrounded by glorious countryside, offering the perfect place for a relaxing and tranquil break. We have a range of fabulous glamping accommodation to choose from, including the Kestrel safari tent plus wood-fired hot tub, Wrekin lodge plus wood-fired hot tub Buzzard pod, four roundhouses (two with wood fired hot tubs), Moonshine, Sundown and Stargazer shacks plus wood fired hot tubs, a shepherd’s hut and The Bullrush .
Kestrel Safari Tent with wood fired hot tub: This charming Safari Tent sleeps 7. 2 bedrooms are available: 1 double bed, 1 triple sleeper and 2 single mattresses. Excellent facilities include a flushing toilet and hot running water, cooking equipment, a fridge, TV, electric heater in the bedrooms and a log burner in the living area for the chillier months.
Wrekin Lodge with wood-fired hot tub: Our magical lodge sleeps 4 and includes a fridge, TV, cooking equipment, flush toilet, hot running water, a toasty log burner and a fire pit for gathering around whilst gazing at the starry night sky.
The Roundhouses: These unique wooden-clad roundhouses sleep 4 people each and boast kitchen and cloakroom facilities. A luxurious hot tub is available in two of the roundhouses.
Shepherd’s Hut: This superb hut sleeps 3 and includes a double bed and single bed, electric heating, lighting, socket and a kettle. A picnic table is great for a morning coffee in the sunshine, whilst a fire pit with a cooking griddle and table and chairs are also available.
The Bullrush, with wood fired hot tub This off-grid, glamping accommodation comes with hot running water, shower and composting toilet. There is a log burner and cooking facilities, including a gas hob, a solar electric powered fridge, all crockery, crockery and utensils.
Buzzard Pod with hot tub: This delightful pod sleeps 2 and includes electric heating and lighting, a double, kitchen area and a water container with a cool box and ice blocks. A gas BBQ, table and chairs and a fire pit with a griddle complete the outdoor living experience.
Moonshine, Stargazer and Sundown Shacks: These fantastic shacks sleep 4 in a double and bunk bed. Inside there is electric heating, lighting and sockets and an electric kettle. There is a fire pit with a cooking griddle, picnic table, table & chairs for al fresco dining.
We have caravan and tent pitches available which take advantage of the amazing views. Facilities onsite include:

We are just 7 miles from the beautiful Ironbridge Gorge and the River Severn. The world heritage site at Ironbridge is a must with the Gorge, Museums and Bridge. You can also take a boat trip on the River Severn.
There are steam trains on the Severn Valley Railway at Bridgnorth and World War II aircraft at the RAF Museum Cosford. There are several National Trust properties in the area including Attingham Park and Dudmaston Hall. The nearby towns of Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth and Ludlow are all well worth visiting.
