Gilberries Hall Farm in Shropshire is a family run campsite within 5 miles of the famous Long Mynd and Carding Mill Valley at Church Stretton, set in the beautiful Apedale. Set only ever so slightly outside the Picturesque Shropshire Hills, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and with views to the woods marking Wenlock Edge, this is a wonderful setting for any leisurely, peaceful holiday.
All of our hard standings offer electrical hook up, our toilet block with two showers, two loos and double washing up area which are cleaned twice a day. We also have chemical emptying facilities.
Dogs welcome with us and what a lovely area it is for dog walking, cycling and waking of any kind.
Church Stretton itself offers a lovely day out, with a market on a Thursday, shops and plenty of places to eat. Ludlow is only a few miles away and is famous for its castle and farmers market. Historic Much Wenlock is very close to our campsite, boasting a beautiful abby ruin. We have two very local pubs here in Church Stretton, The Oak at Cardington offers fine food and cask ales and is just 1.9 miles from us. Enjoy all of the Stretton hills, The Long Mynd and Carding Mill Valley all popular sites for walking, cycling or sight seeing and all within easy reach of our campsite.
Directions: Shrewsbury along a 49 to Stretton turn left at lights 5 miles to wall under Heywood taking second left just after the little bridge. We are the first turning on the left.
