Happy Glamping are an Eco friendly homestead with guest facilities based in an area of outstanding natural beauty, just 10 minutes drive west of Sligo City. Happy Glamping is a special place to connect with nature & enjoy the beautiful Irish landscape that surrounds our site.
We have lovingly restored and brought back to life beautiful 100 year old stone buildings and out houses and created a guest house, bar and camping facilities as well as using as many recycled and upcycled items as possible in our designs to create homely, unique and individual spaces.
We have a strong love of nature and the environment and we are consistently building, expanding and improving our accommodation and services. Visitors can chose exactly how they want to experience Ireland’s majestic countryside with many Glamping options available such as our tiny homes using only solar power and rain water whilst others options include fully serviced accommodation with all mod cons – the choice is yours!
In our Eco Lodge we offer a mix of guest bedrooms; singles, doubles & large family/group rooms and we also have separate self catering units available to suit individual travellers, families or groups. All bedding is supplied but please bring your own towels.
Meals and home baking are available on request in our lovely welcoming lounge where there is also Wi-Fi available.
Our local shop, Post Office & country market are within walking distance and we are located on a main bus route and just 10 minutes from nearest train station.
Why visit Sligo? Well for starters, there is no other county in Ireland that has unspoiled lakes, rivers, beaches and 3 mountain ranges all in one place. What better way to discover Sligo, than by walking through its rich landscape. From way marked routes to coastal paths and mountain hikes to strolls through floral scented woods. Sligo’s breath taking landscape will refresh and enliven your senses. The forest walks of Sligo range from lakeside to upland and ramble through native woodlands and large scale coniferous forests.
