Gilling Old Mill Shepherds Huts are 3 beautiful glamping huts located in a lovely part of the North Yorkshire Countryside, just outside of Gilling West near Richmond. Our shepherd's huts have fantastic views of the North Yorkshire scenery and provide guests with a tranquil base where they can rest and recuperate.
Each glamping hut has a double bed, with a single bunk that is suitable for a child. They are clean, modern and tastefully decorated to ensure guests feel right at home from the moment they arrive. Each hut has a shower room with basin and WC as well as a log burning stove. They are also equipped with a kitchen area that has a microwave, fridge, cooker and TV.
Outside of the huts is a gravelled area where there is a bench to sit on, allowing you to enjoy the lovely views at any time of day.
The surrounding area provides guests with plenty of things to see and do. In nearby Richmond you will find the Culloden Tower, Friary Tower & Gardens, Georgian Theatre Museum, Green Howards Museum, Millgate House Gardens, Richmondshire Museum and Richmond Castle. Alternately why not enjoy a day of fishing and see what you can catch at Gilling West, North Yorkshire Within the grounds there's two well stocked fishing lakes with free fishing - though you will need a licence. The first lake is stocked full of fighting Rainbow Trout and the second is for course fishing. Free fishing is also available on site.
