Description

Marbury Camp & Lodge in Marbury is a small glamping site that caters for tents, caravans and wonderful glamping pods. We are nestled in a stunning location overlooking the Cheshire Plains on the former Duchy of Lancaster Estate, perfect for the ultimate country getaway.

We are the ideal place to stay for busy families looking for a relaxing holiday in a scenic countryside setting. Our aim is to make your stay as personal and enjoyable as possible.

For a touch of luxury, you can stay in our magical glamping pods. The pods sleep up to 4 people and come with everything you need for a special stay. Inside there is a double bed, a double sofa bed in the lounge and a separate shower and WC. The pods come with cooking facilities include a fridge and eating area. You can unwind in front of the TV and the patio area is a great spot for admiring the spectacular view.

We also have pitches for caravans, motorhomes and campers. There are currently 5 grass tourer pitches, 4 of which have a hardstanding area. Each pitch has its own 6 amp electric hookup with water and grey water drainage. For camping in tents, we have a camping field where there is ten 6 amp hook points on the field with drinking water and grey water drainage.

Onsite facilities include a new toilet and shower block which includes 4 showers, 4 toilets, four sinks, hand dryers, a hair dryer and phone charging points. A chemical disposal unit is also available and freezer packs are available on request.

We are a great base for exploring the local area. The site is on the national cycle route and further afield you can head to Cholmondeley Castle and go on the Sandstone Trail. Golfers can visit McDonald Hill Valley Hotel to play a few rounds and Cool Acres Fishery is a great spot for fishing. Further attractions to visit include:

Chester Zoo.
Tatton Park.
National Trust – Lyme.
Chester Cathedral.
Delamere Forest.
