Eden Valley Holidays are situated in the pretty Cumbrian village of Newby near Penrith. We are tucked in between the Lake District and the Pennines. The area is an attraction in its own right as well as giving easy access to the mountains and moors on either side. We also have a fully equipped holiday cottage.
We welcome couples and families to our campsite which can accommodate up to 12 caravans, camper vans or tents. Other groups can be accommodated at the discretion of the owners, and they will be subject to special conditions.
There are electric hook-ups and free Calor Gas powered showers on the site.
Wireless broadband is also available for no extra charge.
A chemical toilet disposal point and a wash house with WC are available to campers.
Unlike some sites, when we cut the grass we gather it up as well as possible so as to minimise it being trampled into your caravan.
We have the use of another 1/2 acre of land for larger gatherings or rallies.
Attractions for visitors vary from the highest mountain in England to the mighty Hadrianís Wall and from museums such as the award winning Tullie House at Carlisle to the unique and mind boggling Bowes Museum at Barnard Castle, a French Chateau on the grandest scale in the middle of County Durham, filled with the most amazing collection of artefacts.
