Hillcroft Park is a family run holiday park that includes Camping and Glamping pods and holiday homes and luxurious lodges for hire. The park is located just a 10 minute walk from Pooley Bridge, set within the Lake District overlooking Lake Ullswater and is about 6 miles from Penrith in Cumbria. We are a great park for families and couples wanting to get away and explore the Lake District.

We currently have hard standing Touring Pitches with electric hook-ups, and large Super Touring Pitches which are hard standing and have electric, water and grey waste facilities on the pitch. Our selection of grass Camping Pitches have electric hook ups.

We have 10 Camping Pods (including some that are pet friendly) they are suitable for Couples or Families with 2 children. They are equipped with a light, heater and are carpeted, however, you are required to bring your own bedding (i.e. air beds, pillows, sleeping bags, blankets, etc.) and other accessories as you would if you were Camping. Think of it as going camping, but we provide you with a Pod rather than a tent.

We also have 10 Glamping Pods (2 are pet friendly). The Glamping Pods are equipped with a fixed 5’ double bed, shower room with toilet, wash hand basin and shaver point. They have a dining table and chairs, kitchenette area with an induction 2-ring hob, oven/microwave, under counter fridge, toaster and kettle. There is an L-shaped sofa area that makes into a double bed. You will need to bring your own bedding, towels, crockery, cutlery and pans suitable for an induction hob and your personal items. There are no TV’s in the Glamping Pods.

Gazebos are not permitted where the pods are located.

There is an up to date play park for the children. Award winning, free shower and toilet facilities including Baby Changing. We also have 2 luxurious private bathrooms for hire. We have a small shop, providing some of the essentials that you may need while staying with us. We also have a fully equipped Laundry for the use of our Guests.
