Angrove Park is a family friendly holiday park that can be found just a short drive from Middlesbrough inbetween Stokesley and Great Ayton. We offer exceptional facilities camping facilities in an idyllic setting that is perfect for a quiet family break or activity filled weekend. Situated in the stunning surroundings of the Cleveland Hills and North Yorkshire Moors, our Park is a picturesque site ideal for those who want to experience camping without the hard work.
We offer tailor made breaks and guests can enjoy relaxation in our cabins that offer two accommodation choices either a double bed and 2 camp beds or a raised bed platform with camping mattress (can fit a double airbed) 2 camp beds. Each one has privacy from its neighbours but is an easy stroll to the facilities. You will need to bring your own bedding, but there are cushions and throws in each one for extra cosiness. Upon arrival, guests will receive a cabin kit which includes information on the local area, information and map of the site and facilities, toiletries and a rechargeable lamp.
All cabins have:
Heating and power.
Lighting inside and out.
Complimentary coffee and tea facilities.
CO2 alarm and smoke detector.
Between the months of June and August we can hire out bell tents which can sleep 4 people. You can have the option of hiring camp beds or it can be left bare for you to bring your own equipment.. For a fully furnished tent we outsource to local companies who will pitch and remove the tent for you, price on enquiry. The bell tents can be pitched individually or in small ‘villages’.
We also have an allocated sheltered area for those wishing to bring their own tents. Angrove Park is set in a 5 acre private garden site so plenty of space for the whole family to relax and explore, even the dogs!

We are directly adjacent to the Wanley to Whitby coast to coast cycle route. About half way between Barnard Castle and Whitby - approx 47 miles from Barnard Castle and approx 30 miles to Whitby. We are also conveniently located between two picturesque villages, Great Ayton 1.5 miles along the river to the East and Stokesley 1 mile to the West. Both with historic interest, Stokesley a market town and Great Ayton, the boyhood home of Captain Cook. Each situated along the river Leven, they have restaurants, coffee shops, bric-a-brac stores, as well banks, grocery shops and spa’s.
