Glenshellach, Oban, Argyll

Description

Roseview Caravan Park offers a quiet family setting in Glenshellach, a peaceful and scenic location only 2 miles from Oban Town Centre in Argyll.

Roseview Caravan Park is open from mid December until the end of October each year but with limited facilities December to March.

Situated on the site are toilets and showers with hot water freely available. A dedicated toilet and shower for disabled users is also situated in the purpose-built toilet block. A separate facility is provided for dishwashing with hot water. A launderette and small drying room is available, should you need it.

There is a stream running through the park caravans and tents are separated on various levels with a special area for families with young children next to the play area should they wish!

There are many uncommon birds around, even to a pair of Golden eagles at times.

We only cater for a max of 45 units ensuring there is an ample space between caravans or tents. We also have a large covered barbecue and an open undercover room with benches, tables and an area where tenters can sit and cook should it be raining. Tent size restricted to 4 x 4 metres (4 man).

The busy port town of Oban is only a mile away from Roseview Caravan Park. Situated on the west coast of Scotland and overlooking the beautiful island of Mull, Oban is a popular tourist destination, with good reason.

It has award winning restaurants, a thriving town centre consisting of many independent shops and fine hostelries and plenty of activities on offer in the town and the surrounding area. Many ferries leave Oban for the islands of Mull, Lismore, Kerrera, Coll, Tiree, Colonsay and Barra, which is why Oban has earned the name "Gateway to the Isles".

Oban is also situated perfectly to enable you to explore the West Highland area. Castles, gardens, mountains, marinas, history and fine walks abound.

Rates: Please see website.
Open from March to October (please contact at any other times).
Groups are allowed by arrangement.
Pets are welcome BUT MUST BE KEPT ON A LEAD AT ALL TIMES.

Directions:

There is a new road up to Roseview Caravan Park which goes past the Oban hospital - leave the main A816 at the south side of Oban at the roundabout with signposts to the hospital, but carry on past the hospital (without turning into it). Continue along that road until you come to a mini roundabout, then turn right. Carry on through the housing estate and the road veers to the left taking you up the hill. Carry on until you see the sign for Roseview Caravan Park on your left.
