Iona Campsite offers an old-style camping getaway on the beautiful island of Iona. We are perfect for a peaceful retreat in Argyll.
Our family-friendly site is on a working croft. Cars are only allowed for resident islanders (you can leave your car at the ferry port in Fionnphort), perfect for a relaxing holiday.
The campsite offers wonderful views and spacious grass tent pitches (non-electric) for a back-to-basic experience.
We have new toilet facilities, including 5 toilets and 5 showers, plus a smart washroom block. There is a firepit and BBQ area.
We are ideally located for discovering all that the area has to offer. The island is only three and a half miles long, perfect for leisurely strolls. Only a 5-minute walk from us is the beach and several more are easy to get to.
A spar offers groceries and essentials and there are two hotels, a pub and a tea room that offers snacks and meals. Attractions to visit include:
Iona Nunnery.
St. Columba's Bay.
Fingal's Cave.
Lagandorain.
Bay at the Back of the Ocean.
