Port Ban is a peaceful haven for those who want to get away from it all. The sheer beauty of the area and the rich diversity of wildflowers & wildlife never cease to amaze both our new and regular visitors alike. The park has half a mile of completely unspoiled coastline with quiet sandy beaches.
The Daily Record just made Port Ban the Number 1 Campsite in Scotland!
Safe bathing is within easy walking distance. The park has a lovely tranquil atmosphere and parents can relax comfortably whilst the children enjoy the freedom and space which is Port Ban.
Situated on the beautiful and secluded coastal road (B8024) between Tarbert and Lochgilphead, Port Ban boasts perhaps the most spectacular setting on the West Coast. It sits on the West Coast of the Knapdale/Kintyre peninsula, an area largely bypassed by the bulk of tourists who follow the main route north to Oban. Unique for Caravan Parks the vans are widely spaced, each offering a panoramic view of the Islands of Jura & Islay.
Sports facilities on site include a large play area suitable for football and other sports, tennis court, games hall with table tennis and pool, putting green, and mountain bikes for hire. Entertainments such as ceilidhs, BBQs and children's activities are provided in the busier months.
We hold interdenominational church services, with programmes for teenagers and children in July and August.

Shop selling groceries, crafts, toys and fishing tackle.
