Town Farm Campsite can be found in Ivinghoe which is only a short drive from Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire. Our campsite is situated on a working farm and is nestled at the foot of the Chiltern Hills making us ideal for walkers and cyclists who are looking to visit the area. The Ivinghoe Beacon is the beginning of the Ridgeway Path which meanders through the Chilterns. The farm is close to the Grand Union Canal with the towpath and boat trips available. We are within an easy trip to London by train in 50 minutes, the snow dome in Hemel Hempstead and ten minutes from Whipsnade Safari Park. There is a wealth of attractions nearby to entertain in wet and dry weather.
Our on site facilities include:
Toilets and showers.
Fire pits for hire with wood available to buy.
About 1,000 sheep are farmed on the Beacon Hill and surrounding high ground, while the lower fields are used for crop cultivation. The
Pick Your Own opens in June and guests can take a picnic and stock up on fruit and vegetables. The farm enjoys fantastic views of the surrounding countryside including the local landmark - Ivinghoe Beacon, which marks the start of the famous Ridgeway Walk.
