Blackberry Wood Campsite is a beautiful camping and glamping site, located in a lovely part of East Sussex at Streat in Ditchling. As well as offering 20 camping pitches, we also have a cosy private glade to camp in, a holiday bus, romantic caravan, helicopter, retro caravan, lovely curvy cabin and our amazing new Treehouses.
Our aim has been to provide guests with an eclectic range of glamping accommodation as well as a beautiful setting for those who want to pitch their own ten. We offer quirky, quality glamping accommodation ranging from cosy private clearings in the woodland through to elaborate hand crafted treehouse. All have their own private area for an atmospheric campfire.
There are basic toilets, free showers and washing up areas. Dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Dry Logs and BBQ coals are for sale in our on-site shop which also sells essentials. We ask our campers to either bring their own fire wood or buy ours and not to pick any dead wood on site as this is essential for our wildlife habitat. The area is surrounded by public footpaths and bridleways.
Campers are given a local map pointing out suggested walks; some to excellent local country pubs. We are surrounded by the most beautiful walks as well as plenty of attractions including:
Ditchling Museum of Arts & Craft.
The South Downs.
Drusillas Zoo & Park.
Plus much more.
