Blean Bees Eco Glamping offers wonderful glamping accommodation in Canterbury, based in a stunning countryside setting. Our glamping site in Kent is the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.
We have gorgeous canvas bell tents and shepherd-style eco huts to choose from, surrounded by lots of wildlife and open fields. The glamping site offers superb countryside views.
Shepherd Huts
We have 2 shepherd huts to choose from, the Eco Hut and Honeysuckle. Each hut offers a wood finish and comes with a wood burner. Honeysuckle comes with a double bed and a single bed, plus a foam Z bed. The Eco Hut has a double bed and foam mattress and a small double (with a camp bed underneath).
Outside each hut is a picnic table, parasol, gas camping stove and fire pit. Near the huts, there is a compost toilet and shower.
Both huts include bedding, utensils, logs, kindling, firefighters and a long lighter. There are fully charged LED lights and we provide books and games.
Bell Tents
You can stay in our canvas bell tents, perfect for a peaceful off-grid getaway. The tents sleep 4/5 people and are fully furnished. They all come with utensils, a cook box, 1 x LED light with a USB slot, Tea towels and cloth, a firelighter, 2 x trugs for washing up and a double air bed and foam beds for kids. Hazel & Rowan have 1 double bed and 2 singles.
Outside each tent, there is a picnic table and parasol, perfect for a coffee in the morning sun. There is also a double camping gas stove and fire pit with logs and kindling. Onsite there is a gas-powered hot shower and 2 compost toilets.
We are in a great location for exploring the area, just a short walk from Whitstable, Canterbury, Faversham and Pebble Beach. The whole family can visit Howletts Zoo or head into Canterbury and see the historic sites. Attractions to visit include:
Wingham Wildlife Park.
Mount Ephraim Gardens.
Wildwood.
Oare Gun Powder Works.
Canterbury Cathedral.
