Whychurch Farm offers camping and glamping in a 40 acre field site with lovely views of the Malmesbury area.
Within a 10 minute walk into the town centre, lovely walks, local pubs, and with fishing rights given on a certain stretch of the river Avon on request. The site is close to the farm with well lit areas including all amenities for both campers and caravaners! There are 6 hookup points for electric for the use on both tents and caravans.
Please note we can only accept the green non formaldehyde chemical for the disposal of the chemical caravan/motorhome toilets.
New additions to Whychurch Farm Campsite are The Den - A Hobbit House which is being re-homed by us from a local site which has sadly closed. This little house has a large double bed and a nice sized area to sit and relax in, or room for a extra guest or two. This comes with electric and all you need for a little break away. All you need to bring is yourself.
The Worthies Wagon was a empty shell when we bought it last May, and have been working on it since then when we can. When finished it will be completely self contained with a seating area and table with storage for the daytime and at night turns into a comfortable bed for extra guests. It has a small fully working kitchen with gas oven, fridge, and sink with hot and cold water, all running off the mains electric, gas or battery. The kitchen has everything you need. Then a high double with underneath storage with a small contained room with a portable toilet and hand basin. Plus a portable gas heater for the chillier nights.
Wanda the Teardrop was crafted locally by a very clever man and is my pride and joy, where we as a small young family have great fun in. It runs off a small battery at the front of the teardrop and at the rear where you raise the back to find a small area for cooking and storage. Everything is supplied for a fun camping experience.
Whychurch Farm is situated on the fringe of the ancient town of Malmesbury, whose historic settlement stands between two branches of the Bristol Avon around the site of a Saxon hill fort. Whychurch Farm is the ideal place to stay being central for visiting beautiful Stately homes and gardens of the surrounding area, with a visit to the beautiful and tranquil Abbey House Gardens a must for garden lovers.
