Hideaway Huts offers glamping accommodation in a shepherd's hut on our Cornish farm at Duloe, near Liskeard in Cornwall.
Tucked away in a secluded spot on the eastern side of Treworgey Farm, this shepherd's hut offers a luxurious glamping experience in Cornwall. This charming hideaway features a full-size double bed with crisp cotton linen and a pocket-sprung mattress, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Inside, you’ll also find a twin gas-ring cooker, a table and chairs, pretty squishy cushions and a log burner to keep you warm and cozy.
Step outside and you’ll discover your own private, wood-fired hot tub. Arguably the highlight of the stay is the stunning view from both the hut and the hot tub overlooking the Looe River Valley as it weaves through the rolling Cornish hills.
For added convenience, fresh drinking water is available just outside the door and solar-powered lights allow you to stay up late playing games, reading, or chatting under the stars. Unlike many glamping sites that offer shared facilities, this hut comes with a private shower hut just 20 yards away. It includes a hot shower, basin and composting loo, all kept warm with its own log burner during colder months.
Explore our 150 acres of patchwork fields down to the river in the valley below. Try your hand (or your seat!) at horse riding, right here at our licenced riding school on the farm. We cater for the novice and the more experienced rider and have a small breeding and competition yard here too.
Fly a kite or play a ball game in our fields, or tennis on the court. Head into the indoor beach for a game of badminton or wet weather sandcastle building. Make friends with our friendly animals, from ponies, horses, goats, sheep, rabbits, pig to guinea pigs. Laze with a book against the cushions on your super comfy bed in your shepherd's hut, or simply gaze through the window at that view.
