Pattacott Farm in Maxworthy offers wild camping and luxurious glamping facilities in a breathtaking countryside setting. Located near Launceston in North Cornwall on a private family farm, we boast spectacular views in all directions.
Our charming farm is ideal for nature lovers looking for a truly authentic rural experience. We offer simple back-to-basic camping facilities with plenty of space for families. You’ll enjoy your own private wild spot or can camp in a group and savour the tranquillity of the natural environment.
We offer grass pitches and grass pitches with electric hook up. The grass pitches offer countryside views and can accommodate up to 6 people per pitch. The electric pitches also accommodate up to 6 people and offer a 16 amp power supply.
For those of you who don’t fancy the hassle of putting up your own tent, we have a range of wonderful glamping accommodation available, including bell tents, a shepherd hut, vintage caravans and horse lorry.
Our Puddle Duck Shepherd Hut is based in the corner of the farm, offering the perfect romantic getaway. The hut comes with a well-equipped kitchen, a pull-down double bed and an en suite shower room and a rainfall shower. Outside there is a private hot tub to soak yourself in. We also have the Shepherds Retreat Hut that comes with similar facilities and offers countryside views.
The bell tents with gazebos all come with some wonderful home comforts, including a dining area and BBQ. The open plan tents sleep 5 and have use of shared toilet and shower facilities. We also have quirky accommodation available in our vintage caravan and our Horse Lorry. Based in the main camping field, which offers views of the hills and farm animals. They have the use of shared toilet/shower facilities.
Onsite facilities include a simple shower block with male and female toilets and wash sinks. Onsite we also have a shop that offers local produce and logs for fire pits.
We are the ideal venue for a friend reunion, hen party, stag do and family gathering, please enquire for details.
We are only a 15/20 minute drive from Widemouth Bay, Bude and Crackington Haven, all perfect spots for surfing. Great attractions to visit in the area include:
