Juno's Field

South Brent, Devon, Dartmoor

Juno's Field at South Brent, Devon, is home to a pair of wonderful glamping bell tents that are ideal for couples and families who want a unique break away. Our cosy tents include proper beds and make an ideal base for those who want to visit the moors. Nestled in a beautiful river valley, this really is camping at its best.

Our bell tent is fully waterproof and includes a king size and 2 single beds. Extra mattresses and travel cot are available free of charge for babies and children. All bed linen, duvets and towels are provided. Solar and battery operated lamps and lighting are also provided, as the camp is off grid. Camp fires are allowed and wood is provided.

Your own kitchen and dining shelter with table and chairs, is set 10 metres behind your bell tent and provides shade when hot, and shelter when raining. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas rings to cook on and a cool box to keep perishables fresh.

Guests have their own bathroom tent with compost loo and hot shower for your own private use, which is set 10 metres below your bell tent.

The field is 2 acres and is securely fenced, to keep any children and pets secure. You will be sharing it with a another bell tent and its facilities, so there's plenty of space to relax and stretch your legs in. The area is great for dog walking so please do bring your canine friend with you. The bell tents are right next to a river and the moors provide plenty of long distance walking opportunities.

There's also plenty to do for the kids and the young at heart - Steam train rides into Totnes, Pennywell Farm and an Otter Sanctuary are all nearby at Buckfastleigh. Woodlands adventure Park, Paignton Zoo, and River Dart Country park are other attractions worth a visit. Down by the sea, you can go on a rock pool ramble at Wembury, or take the Sea Tractor over to Bigbury island at high tide. If it's wet then you can retreat to places such as the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth or ceramic painting in Totnes as well as local cinemas and swimming pools.
