Oaktree-Lane Cabins, Camping and Glamping in Bratton Clovelly, Devon, offers wonderful glamping and camping facilities. Our campsite is in rolling countryside near Okehampton and boasts breathtaking views over Dartmoor National Park.
Mongolian Yurt: Our authentic and hand crafted yurt have been imported from Mongolia and ais perfect for that added bit of luxury. The yurt has been lovingly painted to a wonderful standard and consists of thick yak and horse hair felt lining. The well equipped yurt comes with a wood burning stove, rugs and matting. One comfy double bed, one double day bed and 2 single futons are provided, with the yurt sleeping up to 6 people.
The yurt is supplied with mattress protectors, pillows and pillow protectors, fitted sheets and decorative throws and fleeces. We do not supply duvets but they can be hired for an additional cost. You also have a private kitchen that comprises of a gas cooker, fridge/freezer and range of kitchen essentials. The yurt also has its own private bathroom with power shower, WC and basin. There are no communal areas so no sharing. Outside the yurt is a private decking area with a picnic bench and BBQ facility. This is perfect for a spot of al fresco dining whilst admiring the views.
Wooden Cabins: Our 2 wonderful self-contained cabins offer a truly luxurious retreat. Each cabin sleeps up to 4 people in a double and twin. All bedding is provided. Both rooms share a modern bathroom. You can relax in the lounge area which has a sofa, TV and enjoy views over the green fields. A fitted kitchen has a gas cooker, fridge/freezer and utensils. Outside there is private decking, ideal for unwinding on with a glass of wine.
Wooden Lodges: New for 2021, we have two newly hand built wooden lodges. Each wooden lodge comprises of a delightful front door which opens up into a whole new octagonal world! The lodges sleep up to 5 people in a double bed, single beds and futons. All bedding is provided. Coir matting is provided to ensure you stay cosy and you also have a toasty wood burner. Each lodge boats a private picnic bench and BBQ for al fresco dining. The lodges are totally private and just a short distance from a private field kitchen and shower room for exclusive use, so no need to worry about communal areas or sharing.
Our camping area is located in the same beautiful green field as our yurts. You can savour far reaching views throughout the site. You even have your own private bathroom, so no sharing. Within the field both campers and glampers are invited to use the communal fire pit, so don’t forget your marshmallows.
We proudly sell our own eggs which have been laid daily by our free range hens. These can complement a lovely free range breakfast and we also offer free range pork meat for sausages and bacon. All our produce can be supplied for an additional cost.
