Primrose Hill Farm offers a wonderfully situated site for camping, caravans and touring motorhomes in the stunning coastal town of Swanage in Dorset. The campsite is set in peaceful picturesque surroundings and offers excellent facilities and a great base to explore this beautiful part of the world.
Facilities include a simple toilet block, separate shower block, showers are on a meter. Washing up area and fridge/freezers. Chemical disposal point. Charging for mobile phones, laptops and car batteries.
Situated in the heart of Purbeck countryside. It is ideal for walking as there are footpaths to the Jurassic coast and Purbeck hills. For beach lovers Swanage Bay is only 3 miles and Studland bay 5 miles away. Swanage steam railway is only a 10 minute walk away at Harmanís Cross station and a bus stop within 1/2 mile.
Nearby attractions include NT Corfe Castle, NT Studland Bay, Swanage Railway, Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum, Blue Pool and many others. A mobile shop visits the site selling newspapers, milk, bread etc. A mini supermarket and petrol station is Ĺ mile away on the A351. The Kings Arms is about 1 mile walk away in Langton Matravers and the world famous Square and Compass in Worth Matravers is about 3 miles away.
Directions: If you are coming from Wareham. Turn off A351 (Wareham-Swanage) at cross roads at Harmans Cross into Haycrafts Lane in about Ĺ mile turn left. If you are coming from Swanage via Sandbanks ferry turn left off the A351 at Harmans Cross.
We do not take bookings for tents on arrival you choose your pitch once you have paid, pitch selection is a 1st come 1st served basis. We believe in a more relaxed style of camping where you choose your own pitch anywhere on the campsite. Caravans booking are essential.
