River View Touring Park is nestled in a Welsh valley just outside the village of Llanedi near Swansea. Our camping and caravanning park is in a great location and can easily access junction 49, the M4 and other major routes.
Our south facing site is surrounded by native trees, wildflowers, wildlife and has the River Gwili flowing around the boundary. Our camping and caravanning site is peaceful, relaxing and quiet – perfect for people who are looking to escape the noise of larger towns and cities. We have developed it to a modern 4 star standard whilst still maintaining its rural atmosphere and feeling of tranquillity. All the work we have undertaken has been environmentally sensitive and has helped the site achieve the prestigious ‘Wales Business & Sustainability Awards 2006’ and gold in the David Bellamy Conservation Award scheme for the second year in succession.
Our amenities block is timber frame and clad with a high level of insulation. Hot water is provided by solar panels supplemented by a condensing boiler, which is approved by the Carbon Trust. Under floor heating is also run from the same hot water system. Water consumption is reduced by the installation of low volume dual flush cisterns for all the toilets.

Many of the castles are located on dramatic hilltop locations with stunning views of surrounding valleys and rivers. Some even include mysterious underground passages, and have been well preserved over time. Families can also enjoy a visit to one of the many museums which tell the history of industry, the arts and historical figures of Carmarthenshire.
