Under Starry Skies

Llansadwrn, Carmarthenshire

Under Starry Skies offers magical glamping accommodation near Llansadwrn in Carmarthenshire. Set in a glorious countryside position, we are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.

Hafan Cabin Sleeps 2 adults and 2 children. Our bespoke, off-grid cabin with a lush living roof is set in its own wild and secluded meadow. Hafan, along with Derwen Cabin, were both beautifully built by the owners to offer unique accommodation. Nestled into the corner of the meadow and surrounded on three sides by wood and traditionally laid hedgerows, we are a true haven for countryside lovers. From deck, you can admire gorgeous countryside views whilst hearing the distant sound of birdsong.

Inside the cabin is a mezzanine double bed set above a cosy sofa area. The sofa can be split into 2 half-sized beds for young kids. A wood burner will keep you toasty in the winter months. The kitchen area comes with a wood-burning stove, twin gas hob and a range of utensils. You can dine inside or outside on the patio table for some al fresco dining. The cabin includes a BBQ and fire pit, perfect for toasting marshmallows with friends while gazing at the starry skies. Hafan has its own private composting toilet in a tiny wood-clad hut.

Derwen Cabin Sleeps 2. Derwen is next to Hafan, located in a stunning meadow. This cosy and compact cabin is set under an old oak tree and boasts woodland views. The snug mezzanine double bed is the perfect place to rest your head at night and is above a comfy sofa area. Facilities include a guitar, Bluetooth speaker, books, board games and playing cards. A wood burner is perfect for relaxing by with a good book on a chilly day. You can cook on the wood-burning stove or use the twin gas hob in the well-equipped mini kitchen.

You can eat inside or outside on the delightful decking. Derwen has its own BBQ and fire pit, ideal for cooking sausages whilst admiring the starry night sky. The cabin has its own composting toilet in a tiny wood-clad hut.

Each cabin has solar-powered LED lighting, a USB socket, bed linen, towels and wood for the wood burner. Both cabins have shared-use facilities at the farmhouse. Inside you will find a fridge/freezer, utility sink, shower and flushing toilet. Our teeny tiny honesty shop is also up at the farmhouse and sells fresh eggs, home-made jams and chutneys.

You can stroll out from the cabin and walk down the public footpath to the small river and visit the incredible woodlands at Llwynbwch.
