Cae Wennol Yurts offers three stunning self catering yurts for a magical glamping experience in the North Wales county of Conwy. Our wonderfully appointed accommodation is located in Ty'n-y-groes close to the market town of Conwy and a short distance from the coastal town of Colwyn Bay, we are perfect for a rural getaway.
The yurts can be found on a 16 acre family run small holding in the peaceful and picturesque Conwy Valley. Cae Wennol offers a quiet retreat and a gateway to Snowdonias mountains.
Our three yurts are divided as follows. Seren is a 19ft yurt sleeping between 2 and 4, where you can watch the stars from your double bed and cuddle up by the log burner. There is also a seating area and lots of space to relax with tea lights and blankets, perfect for a romantic break. Heddwch is a 21ft yurt which can sleep 6 guests and includes a king sized bed and 2 double futons making it perfect for families. The yurt comes with a log burner and seated area with lots of cushions to relax and pass the time away. Celynnin is another 21ft yurt which sleeps 6 and features a double bed and 2 futons. There is a log burner and this yurt also has its own private area overlooking the ponds.
Cooking facilities include a communal rustic kitchen with a cooking and eating area which is undercover. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob, crockedry, cutlery and cooking utensils. There is also a barbeque and a wood burning stove with an oven and hob. There is fresh running water from our own spring. We have eco compostable loos and eco hot water shower rooms that have fresh spring water. Cae Wennol Yurt field is a short walk from the farm, along with a path lit with solar lights. The yurts overlook the Tal Y Fan mountains and our spectacular ature gardens that are rich with wildlife.
Cae Wennol is located just 6 miles from the historic walled town of Conwy and are positioned centrally for the coast, countryside and the mountains, this an excellent are for walking, mountain biking and bird watching. Lake, river and sea fishing are all available locally. Nearby golf courses, treetop walking, dry ski slopes and horse riding are also nearby. Guests can also visit the Isle of Anglesey, the beautiful Swallow Falls in Betws Y Coed or the seaside town of Llandudno.
