Rynys Farm campsite occupies a peaceful and scenic location in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales, about 2 miles from the village of Betws-y-Coed. This is a friendly camping site that prides itself on its spotlessly clean facilities. The campsite offers marvellous views from your caravan or tent down the Machno Valley or towards Moel Siabod.
The toilet block is a converted traditional stone farm building with hot showers (metered - 10p pieces), hot & cold water, shaving points, and dishwashing facilities. There is also a metered power point for hairdryers etc. Attached to the toilet block is a games room with pool table. There are chemical toilet disposal facilities.
The campsite caters mainly for tents and camper vans and a few touring caravans. Electric hook-ups are now available. Please note that the maximum stay for caravans is 21 days. Campers are able to park their cars next to their tents.
No booking is required for single or family tents (except over bank holidays), but please book ahead if you are a group, or would like a particular spot. Caravans and electric hook-ups require a booking.
For the enjoyment of everyone the following rules are in force on this site:
Dogs allowed on lead only.
No admittance to newcomers between 10pm and 9am.
No music at any time.
No camp fires, only barbeques.
Only two motorbikes allowed together.
No noise or drinking between 11pm and 8am.
We also have our Shepherds Hut. The hut is set in an elevated position at the edge of the campsite and enjoys fabulous mountain views. There is a fold-out double bed/seat, and a woodburning stove for those colder evenings - the hut is available all year. Logs are supplied for the first few days. Why not try our Yurt? The yurt sleeps 2 adults and 2 children and is ideal for family camping with a bit of luxury in Snowdonia, or glamping as it is often called. The yurt is set in a scenic private position and enjoys fabulous mountain views. A car can be parked nearby.
