Glen Trothy Caravan Park is a quiet, well maintained park set in beautiful countryside in the village of Mitchel Troy which is just over a mile from Monmouth, Monmouthshire. The camping and caravanning site consists of 6½ acres with the River Trothy running past the site.
The caravan park has 74 pitches for touring caravans all in one field, and 50 pitches for tent campers spread over a further two fields. All the touring pitches have electric hook-ups, also several in the tenting field (10 amps) and water points. There is a children's play area which has swings, climbing frame, play deck, cabin, ladders, climbing wall and sand pit.
There are lots of facilities onsite including toilet blocks, showers, hairdryers (including sockets for using your own dryers), razor points, laundry facilities, washing up room and chemical disposal point. Facilities are also provided for the disabled.
The caravan park is very close to Monmouth which offers great opportunities for walking, fishing, golfing, cycling and canoeing. The area is steeped in attractions from beautiful castles to picturesque landscaped areas.
