Situated in a very quiet spot 1.5 miles from the National Trust Village of Lacock the campsite has its own lake 'Silverlands' that is well known for coarse fishing.
The campsite also has a shower block with hot showers, toilets and wash basins.
Lacock Abbey is a thirteenth century Nunnery that eventually became the home of William Henry Fox Talbot, a pioneer in photography and there is a Museum of Photography at the Abbey. Our various selection of super pitches provide fresh running water facilities - grey waste - and the necessary equipment for this is supplied by us. You can also connect into the Park's TV system giving BBC, ITV, CH4, CH5. We also have hard standing pitches with the necessary connections for an American Motor Home. Our small campsite at Lower Foxhangers comprises two small paddocks, both of less than one acre. One of these which is slightly sloping is used for members of the Caravan & Camping Club while the other is used for tents. Six of the caravan pitches have electric hook-up and the shower and toilets are situated about forty yards from the field. Please note the electricity supply is suitable for lights, television etc., but not suitable for heaters, electric kettles and immersion heaters.

The Gypsy Caravan dates back from the 1920's and has been lovingly restored to offer romantic accommodation. There is a pull out double bed that is also used as a seating area. The Gypsy Caravan also has an electric heater, lamps, fairy lights and two hot water bottles.
