The site is let as a whole, taking up to twenty five people and is ideal for large families and outdoor education groups. Only six vehicles can have access to the site to minimize erosion and wildlife disruption. A track runs through the site which is used only by us to access the land above and occasionally bring sheep and cattle to and from the fells, otherwise the site is your own.

Our Serviced pitches all have a 10 amp electric hook up. Most of these are Super Pitches which also have their own water tap and grey waste. We have a couple of serviced pitches that have electric hook up and a shared water tap but no grey waste. Most of our Serviced Pitches are on grass.
Castlerigg Farm Camping & Caravan Site

Castlerigg Farm Campsite is found at the foot of Walla Crag, with exceptional panoramic views of the surrounding fells, the site looks down towards Derwent Water and in the distance Bassenthwaite Lake.
The site offers campers spectacular panoramic views from the camp field, touring caravan pitches are lower down and do not provide the same views of the lake. The camp field is classes as gently sloping, all hook-up pitches are on grass some units may require levelling blocks.
Wild In Style

The yurts are made in 3 layers, an outer canvas, a mid layer of insulation and a inner lining layer which is of a soft cotton and complements the natural wooden frame they include the following: Woodburner, fully stocked kitchen, proper table and chairs, opening windows for when the woodburner makes the yurt a little too toasty, lockable door, BBQ/Firepit with seating, futons or beds for sleeping on, LED lighting, bedding provided and a basket of wood for the wood burner.

From the south the visitor to Keswick and the northern lakes is greeted by spectacular views when dropping down the pass from Dunmail Raise. The huge mass of Helvellyn on the right creates the narrow valley of Thirlmere, occupied by its large reservoir.
Over a hundred years ago two small lakes and a small hamlet were drowned by the building of a large dam at the northern end of the valley. This now supplies Manchester with water through nearly one hundred miles of tunnels, pipes and channels.

There are no set pitches for tents so we advise you call us before coming to camp. The camping area has an outdoor private hot shower and dry composting toilet. The car park is 75 yards from the site but we provide wheelbarrows to transport your things.

Each one has a double bed, single bunk bed with hyper allergenic memory foam mattresses and fresh colourful duvets and linen. The views from the stable door and windows are amazing and the wood burning stove will keep you toasty warm. The Shepherd Huts each have their own outside brazier and bench and we are happy to accept one well behaved dog.

Touring & Tents:
Our touring field is the first area you come to when you enter the park nestled between Pete's Wood and Crow Wood with farmland spreading out as far as the eye can see and we have been working on our touring pitches this year giving each pitch more space to easily accommodate an awning. Our field is set out in a circle with a large free area in the middle. We have 6 hard standing pitches for larger/heavier vans. Each pitch is served with electricity if required. Our tent field sits in an elevated position looking onto the mill pond with the "Big Wood" at the back and there are a number of "hook-up" points if required. Both our touring field and tent pitches are easy to get to and near to our amenity block.
Rhos Caravan Park

Glenridding, Penrith, CumbriaPatterdale Hall Estate in Glenridding, Penrith in Cumbria, offers stunning self catering and caravan accommodation on a glorious 300 acre private estate. We are based in the beautiful Ullswater Valley, making us a truly idyllic holiday destination.
The estate has a charming five pitch caravan club members only CL site. The site is located in woodland next to Grisedale Beck just upstream of Grisedale Bridge. Each pitch on our Lake District caravan site is hard standing and has electric hook up and its own picnic table. Excellent facilities include free Wi-Fi, TV points, cold water tap and chemical point but we do not have toilets and showers. All CL guests are welcome to explore the 300-acre Estate and use our private foreshore for fishing or boating.

Close to Patterdale village and many walks, both high and low level. No fires permitted but barbecues ok if raised off the ground. Tents and small/medium sized campervans welcome, sorry no caravans.

The Site is situated on the edge of Tywyn Trewan Common which is midway between Bryngwran on the A5 and Rhosneigr on the coast. The site is level and grassy with electric hook-up points.
There are toilets on the site together with a shower. A freezer is available for the storage of frozen food and freezing of freezer packs - no charge is made for this.

If you select a non electric pitch you can choose your own pitch on arrival. This means your pitch is allocated on a first come first served basis.
