Gear Farm is a peaceful camping and caravanning site situated in St Martin, Helston, Cornwall. The campsite is family-run and is family orientated. The generous pitches are 10 metres apart for extra privacy. We have a total of 15 pitches for either tents, tourers or motorhomes.
The camping field is 1.5 acres of level mown grass with views of the Helford River. There is a new shower block with 3 hot showers, 3 toilets, washing up area and 2 fridge/freezers.
The nearest pub, the Ship Inn at Mawgan is a nice 1-mile walk around the creeks of the river. Guest can hire boats at St Anthony and Helford to explore Frenchman's Creek and along the river. All beaches and fishing ports around the peninsula are within approximately 6 miles. Wet weather activities include Ships and Castles swimming pool at Falmouth, Paradise Park at Hayle and Flambards at Helston. Attractions to visit include:
