We offer two holiday pods near the village of Bridgend, in the heart of the Inner Hebridean Isle of Islay. Each pod enjoys stunning views over Loch Indaal and the surrounding countryside, making them a perfect retreat for bird watchers, wildlife enthusiasts, and whisky lovers alike. The area also offers opportunities for both trout and sea fishing, adding to the outdoor experience.
Bowmore Pod
The pod sleeps up to four people and includes a bedroom with a double bed, a toilet and shower room and a living area featuring a double sofa bed and bunk beds. A small kitchen area is equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle for your convenience. Access is through large patio doors that not only provide easy entry but also frame the beautiful panoramic views. Outside, a spacious decking area with a picnic bench offers the perfect spot for al fresco dining.
Bruichladdich Pod
This pod sleeps up to two people and includes a bedroom, a toilet and shower room and a living area with a comfortable double sofa bed. A compact kitchen area is equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle for preparing light meals and snacks. Large patio doors provide easy access and showcase stunning panoramic views, while the spacious front decking with a picnic bench offers an ideal setting for dining al fresco.
Visiting the Area
This area is a haven for walking, wildlife watching, sea fishing and whisky lovers. The Isle of Islay has 9 distilleries including Ardbeg Distillery. Other places of interest include the Rinns of Islay, Dunyvaig Castle and Carraig Fhada Lighthouse.
