Appledore Park in Sampford offers a variety of wonderful facilities for camping, caravans and motorhomes. Located in a glorious part of Devon near Okehampton, we are perfect for an idyllic getaway.
Our friendly and scenic campsite is ideal for nature lovers looking for somewhere special to stay. This family and couple orientated park is nestled in tranquil surroundings, offering 8 acres of beautiful grounds. In total we have 40 pitches available, all boasting breathtaking views of the Devonshire countryside and farmland. We have hard standing or grass pitches with 16 amp electric hook ups and drinking water at each bollard.
We have an array of high-quality facilities available:

We are in a brilliant position for exploring the local area. Only 30 minutes away is Okehampton Castle, the largest castle in Devon. Enjoy some local history at the Museum of Dartmoor Life or head to Lydford Gorge to see its famous White Lady Waterfall, standing 90ft high. Head to RHS Rosemoor and stroll around the 32 acres of majestic countryside or take a ride on the Launceston Steam Railway and admire the view. Further attractions to visit include:
