Flaxton Meadows in Flaxton offers luxury log cabins and touring pitches in a stunning countryside setting. Our adult only site is surrounded by rolling farmland and heathland and only 8 miles from the historic city of York, making us a great base for exploring North Yorkshire.
We have a range of gorgeous log cabins to choose from, all nestled in a picturesque countryside setting. The cabins have been beautifully handcrafted and boast a private hot tub to soak yourself in.
All the cabins have been stylishly furnished using local suppliers to create a sumptuous and comfy experience. They sleep 4 adults and 2 children, great for a family or group getaway.
Our site welcomes touring caravans, motorhomes, campervans or trailer tents. We offer spacious hard standing pitches and all the pitches have access to electric.
Facilities onsite include a washroom with showers, toilets, shaving points, hair dryers and hand dryers. We also have the Champers for Campers bar, perfect for enjoying refreshments and snacks whilst admiring the views. A laundrette is available and you can enjoy our lovely nature trail.
The local area has something for everyone. Adjacent to us is Strensall Common, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and home to rare plants and lizards. You can also enjoy some of the famous walks, including the Ebor Way and The Yorkshire Wolds Way. Visit the famous City of York, home to interesting shops, great restaurants and the world-renowned York Minister. Great attractions to visit include:
