Situated in the south-east corner of Kent, often referred to as the Garden of England, Romney Meadows Caravan and Camping Park is ideally located near some of the UK’s most distinctive beaches and attractions, all set against the peaceful backdrop of the Kent countryside. It’s a perfect destination for caravans, motorhomes, campervans, camping and glamping.
Romney Meadows Caravan Park offers a range of facilities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Guests have access to essential amenities including electric hook-ups, recycling points and grey water and chemical waste disposal for caravans, motorhomes and campervans. The park also provides well-maintained kitchen facilities with a fridge/freezer, kettle, microwave and toaster, as well as a laundry room, hairdryer and clean toilet and shower blocks.
We have cosy glamping cabins to stay in, sleeping up to 2 people. The cabins include 2 single beds, electric supply, a kettle and small fridge. Outside there is veranda and outdoor patio with 2 chairs and a table.
You can also choose to stay in one of our bell tents that sleep 4 people (maximum of 2 adults). They all come with 1 double bed and 2 single beds, electric supply, kettle, veranda and an outdoor bench table. We also have the new Sunseeker Trailer Tent for up to 6 people (maximum 4 adults), offering 2 fixed double beds, electric supply, a kettle and a table and chairs.
Located just outside New Romney, the park is conveniently close to the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Light Railway and bus routes along the A259, offering connections to Dover, Hastings, and Ashford. A hail-and-ride bus service stops right outside the entrance, and a public footpath leads directly into New Romney village. Guests can also enjoy miles of nearby beaches and countryside walks, making it an ideal base for exploring the South Coast. Attractions to visit include:
