Hawthorns Glamping in Foxley offers stunning glamping accommodation in the Muntjac Safari Tent. Nestled in a tranquil countryside location in Norfolk, we are perfect for an idyllic getaway. We are close to Dereham and only a short drive to the famous city of Norwich.
Our luxurious glamping tent is great for friends or family looking to escape the pressures of modern life. The safari tent is beautifully furnished and includes a range of little home comforts, ensuring you receive a truly relaxing and unforgettable experience.
The beautiful, wooden-framed canvas safari tent sleeps up to 6 people and comes with a lovely open plan living area with power sockets, a table with chairs and comfy sofas. Inside there are 2 double size bedrooms and a charming cabin bedroom, all with bed linen, duvets and pillows. A delightful kitchen area comes with essentials such as an oven and a small fridge freezer. A separate bath/shower is also available.
Outside you will find a timber veranda/decking area with seating. The ideal place to unwind with a glass of wine whilst savouring the gorgeous views over the 2-acre meadow. In the evening you can huddle around the firepit which is surrounded by log seating, a great spot for admiring the starry night sky.
Onsite we have a children’s mud kitchen, swings/sandpit, games for outside stored in the log shed and swing ball. We can also offer extras for an additional cost, such as delicious breakfast or BBQ hampers.
We are in a fantastic position for exploring the local area. The two peaceful villages of Bawdeswell & North Elmham are only a couple of miles away and the 3 market towns of Reepham, Dereham and Fakhem are all accessible by car. The seaside is only 19 miles away and has lots of brilliant walks, pubs and restaurants. Great attractions to visit include:
