Green Haven Camping, in Rumburgh, Suffolk, offers a superb camping experience in lovely countryside. We are just 20 minutes from our stunning heritage coastline; close to the seaside locations of Southwold, Dunwich and Walberswick; and within easy reach of Norwich and The Broads.
We are a small, traditional, quiet campsite, catering for up to 5 caravans or motor homes and 10 tents. We have 7 pitches with electric hook-ups. All pitches are well-spaced and vehicles are kept in a small parking area, which keeps the camping field open and safe. We provide a garden trolley to transport your tents and belongings. Our rural setting means that there is plenty of wildlife to see and hear and the clear skies, free from light pollution, give amazing views of the stars. Quiet or busy, the site feels friendly and welcoming and children often enjoy playing together in the open spaces; whilst the native hedging, willow living fence and meandering wood chip path divide the site and separate pitches.
Facilities include a stylish and contemporary unisex shower and toilet block with underfloor heating, wash cubicle, two toilets and two showers. There are sockets in the reception area for hair dryers or for charging electrical devices. We have fire baskets available for hire and bags of logs to buy. We are also lucky enough to have a great pub in the village (5 minute walk away) serving good food and drink.
We have a small onsite shop (The Provisions Place) and an information point. Where possible, all goods are sourced from within a 10 mile radius of Green Haven. We can take orders for raw milk and breakfast baskets (which include local eggs, free-range bacon and sausages, yogurt, bread and milk) and we sell bread, jams, yogurts, ice creams, free-range meat and a few other camping essentials. You can pre-order. Let us know what you'd like and we'll have it ready for you on arrival, or we can deliver breakfast in the morning.
