Irondale Touring Caravans & Camping is situated behind The Chequer's Inn at Stanton by Dale in Derbyshire. Adjoining vast open fields with a picturesque view of horses and ponies in their natural surroundings this offers the perfect setting for extended walks across the open Derbyshire countryside.
Our facilities include five pitches for touring caravans and one for tents, each equipped with an electric hook-up. Amenities such as a drinking water point, chemical toilet disposal, grey water disposal and rubbish bins are conveniently located nearby.
The Chequer's Inn prides itself on being a traditional pub, where guests can enjoy quality beers, homemade food, and snacks in a welcoming atmosphere for those who appreciate the finer aspects of pub culture.
The area is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, where sightings of buzzards, red kites, deer, foxes and badgers are common. There is plenty to see and do in the area, including:
