Ashfield Touring Caravan Park is a welcoming, family-run site catering to touring caravans, tents and motorhomes, conveniently located near York in North Yorkshire. It offers an ideal base for those looking to explore both the Yorkshire coast and the surrounding countryside.
The site is level, clean and friendly, making it a great choice for families and couples alike. With easy access to York, guests can take advantage of two reliable bus services as well as a nearby Park & Ride facility, making trips into the city simple and convenient.
Facilities onsite include:
40 caravan/motorhomes/tents pitches with 16A electric hookup (metered).
Ladies & gents heated toilets & showers.
Elsan chemical disposal.
Dish-washing facilities.
Disabled toilet/shower room.
Children's play area with adjoining picnic area and Aussie BBQs (dogs not permitted).
Calor gas refills.
Shop (milk, bread, alcohol, sweets, ice-creams and basic provisions).

We have a separate rally field that can take up to 32 caravans with electric hookups.
A well-equipped 2-bedroom holiday cottage is also available for rent.
The quaint village of Dunnington has a newsagent, mini-supermarket, butchers, artisan bakery, hairdresser, takeaway and 2 pubs. You can take a bus to York or alternatively use the cycle track from the village to York for a more scenic route. The Yorkshire Wolds, Moors and Dales are within easy reach. For day trips you can visit Castle Howard, Flamingo Land Zoo & family fun park, the National Railway Museum and York’s medieval site.
