Pasturewood Holidays in Dalston, Carlisle, offers luxurious glamping in a countryside setting. Enjoying views of the Lake District fells, we are perfect for a relaxing staycation getaway.
We offer twelve luxurious glamping pods on our site, six family pods and six couples only pods. All the pods are heated and equipped with an en-suite shower room or free-standing bath. All the pods are fully furnished and include a range of excellent facilities:
Double bed or king size bed.
Beds made up with towels (fluffy robes if your pod has a hot tub)
TV.
Two zone ceramic hob (couples pods also have a full-size oven)
Fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle.
Crockery, cutlery cooking utensils, pots and pans.
Tea towel, cloth and washing up liquid.
Outdoor seating.
All of our couples only pods come with a wood fired hot tub and two of our family pods Pasture and Oak View also come with a wood fired hot tub.
We also offer a selection of extras and packages to help our guests celebrate special occasions from fire pits, charcoal BBQs, prosecco, party packages to romantic packages and much more. These can be added when you book!
QUIET PASTURE: Our couples only pods are located in the ‘Quiet Pasture’ separate from our family area, specially designed for couples only who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy a private luxury break in the countryside.
Three of these pods (Blossom View, Fell View and Beech View) include an en-suite shower room and a fully equipped kitchenette, with full sized gas oven, gas hob and fridge with small freezer. This is perfect for longer stays!
All six of the Quiet Pasture Pods include two-person wood fired hot tubs to compliment the outdoor space allowing you to relax and enjoy the experience of outdoor bathing. The other three pods (Cherry View, Holly View and Willow View) offer a very stylish indoor luxury free standing bath (instead of en-suite shower) also allowing you to enjoy the stunning view through the window. These pods offer lots of space, even a small wardrobe has been incorporated into the design offering plenty of hanging space and storage.
Our family area on our site offers six family pods which sleep up to 4 guests with a fixed double bed and pull out double sofa bed, two of our family pods even include wood fired hot tubs, there is lots of space for children to run around along with a climbing frame with slide and spider swing and not to forget the goal posts for a game of football. We also have a petting corner where we have pygmy goats and two micro piggies for you to meet, we also have pet lamb bottle feeding for you to have a go at from Valentine’s weekend through until June.
There's something for every type of traveller here. For lovers of the countryside, we are located only 20+ minutes from the Lake District depending on where you would like to visit. It’s famous for its lakes, forests and mountains. We are also 10 miles from the City of Carlisle which offers historic and modern attractions to enjoy, the most well-known is the Cathedral and Carlisle Castle, which has dominated the city for nine Centuries. There is also a bustling town centre with a large range of shopping and restaurants.
