Fell View Park is a friendly touring park situated on a family working farm near Scorton, on the western edge of the Forest of Bowland in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Our park is approximately four acres, with fifteen hard standings and the rest grass. All pitches have electric hook-up if required. There is a brand new heated facilities block with ladies, gents and disabled toilets and showers, a kitchen area for the tents with fridge and freezer, which also houses local information. There is a coin-operated laundry with washer and tumble drier.
We have a small fishing lake adjacent to the site. The fishing lake which is about one acre is stocked with Carp, Roach, Perch, Tench and Bream adds to the attraction of the site. There is a charge of £5/day for fishing. Many people just enjoy a quiet stroll around the lake to watch the wildlife and take in the wonderful views of the fells and across Morecambe Bay from Blackpool to the Lakeland Hills.
Fell View Park is two miles north of Scorton Village, which is a very popular destination for visitors to the area. Our nearest town is the small market town of Garstang, where the Thursday morning market draws people from all around, and is well worth a visit any day. About seven miles away is the historic city of Lancaster with its castle and other attractions such as Williamson’s Memorial and the Maritime Museum making it a very interesting day out. The well known seaside resorts of Blackpool and Morecambe are just a short drive away.
