Crossghyll Farm is tucked away in the picturesque valley of Littledale, surrounded by gently rolling hills that rise to the majestic fells above, including Mallowdale Pike, Wardstone, and Clougha Pike. Just a 45-minute drive from both the heart of the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, Crossghyll Farm offers a perfect escape to the tranquility of nature.
We are based on a lovely working dairy and sheep farm. On a clear day, you can savour spectacular views across three counties. A range of glamping pods are available. The pods sleep 4 to 5 people and offer that added bit of luxury compared to the traditional camping experience. All the pods are currently unfurnished and guests will need to bring their own camping utensils and bedding. Each pod is fitted with radiators, electric sockets and USB points for phone charging.
Our shower block has underfloor heating, 3 unisex showers with a men and women’s washroom and 2 toilet cubicles and sinks. Washing up facilities and two large sinks are also available.
In the middle of the campsite is a fire pit with large stones to sit on. The perfect place to relax with friends in the evening while the stars are shining.
Lots of attractions are in the local area. Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is a beautiful footpath which runs close to the edge of two rivers, allowing you to enjoy views of the waterfalls. The Lune Valley is ideal for cyclists and walkers and further afield you can visit lots of attractions, including:
Gresgarth Hall and Gardens.
Clougha Pike.
Lancaster City Museum.
Williamson Park.
Lancaster Castle.
